Item Description
7.5” tall. Variation on the rare Union to the People of America, Civil & Religious Liberty to All Mankind (Arman U.4) pattern. Typically thought to be Washington, Jefferson and Adams w/Liberty pole, here the banner reads "Union To The People Of Ireland" and the figures presumably to either represent the United Irishmen or perhaps founding fathers standing in solidarity. Masonic reverse. We cannot find another example. Expert restoration to base and bottom handle joint. Not noticeable. Displays Exc. Rex & Patti Stark Collection.
