4.5” tall by 10” dia. Extremely rare pattern and form, though a suitable companion piece to the Washington & Franklin punch bowl, lot #5. John Adams as President (as seen on a jug in Arman A.4) and By Virtue And Valour We Have Freed Our Country And Laid The Foundation Of A Great Country (Arman B.11) reverse. Tall ships at sail and Washington w/Colonial map vignettes. Strong polychrome ship w/full color American flag at center. Roughness at rim and chip below Adams transfer. Fine.
