Genocyber: The Devil Beauty From Psychi World is a five-part original video animation (OVA) released in 1994, adapted by Koichi Ohata from Tony Takezaki's 1992 manga. The OVA was produced by Bandai Visual and released in North America by U.S. Manga Corps. Noted for it extreme graphic violence, the plot of the anime differs signicantly from the source material. Offered here is 13x15" matted display w/orginal production animation cel and hand-painted production bkg. showing scene from end of first episode, a tearful reunion between main character Elaine Reed (back in her human form) and the ghost of Rat in skyscraper construction zone just before Elaine returns to her Genocyber form and destroys Hong Kong in her anguish. Cel has been taped to bkg. w/some aging to tape/tape residue, but this is not visible as matted. Cel has been signed in black felt tip pen by Ohata, who personlized cel "To David" and added "3/3 /94" notation at bottom right. Displays Exc. as matted and is ready from framing.
