Item Description
2-1/8” w/W&H back paper. Issued as a “Souvenir Cleveland Press Newsboys Picnic 1902.” Wonderful color and detailed art of youthful policeman. His helmet is inscribed with a “1” to match his belt buckle which reads ” One Cent”.  He wears a double-breasted tunic displaying his shield-shaped “Press” badge. He wears white gloves, and one hand holds a billy club labeled “The People.” Slightest age on extreme outer edge. Mere trace of surface wear. Only two known to us. VF. Rare.
