Item Description
2.25" dia. by 3.25" including brass mount and blunt end screw. Early sulphide bust set in flat front flint glass knob. Superb quality suggests the Pittsburgh firm of Bakewell, Page & Bakewell. Though Monroe and William Henry Harrison have reached market, this appears to be the only known Jefferson. Faintest wear to glass and junction edge of brass to doorknob. Exc. Rex & Patti Stark Collection.
