Item Description
Size 7 "Flight Ace" military cap has been signed on interior in blue felt tip pen by Neil Armstrong (1930-2012), who, as Commander of Apollo 11, became the first person to walk on the surface of the moon on July 21, 1969. When the Apollo 11 astronauts returned home, they went on a goodwill tour around the world, including stops at military bases. This cap was signed at one such stop and comes w/candid snapshot of Armstrong signing this cap. Cap has some aging along bottom, but signature remains strong. VF overall. Armstrong became somewhat reclusive later in life, refusing many autograph requests. Unique signed item w/wonderful photo provenance. Comes w/JSA LOA.
