Item Description
Rawlings Official AL (Brown) baseball signed in blue ink by 25 members of the 1967 Boston Red Sox. Known for their "Impossible Dream" season, the Red Sox finished first in the AL w/a 92-70 record. The team was led by Carl Yastrzemski, who had a phenomenal season, winning the Triple Crown w/a .326 batting average, 44 home runs, and 121 RBIs. While the Red Sox made it to the 1967 World Series, they were defeated by the St. Louis Cardinals in seven games. Signatures include - National Baseball HOF members Yastrzemski, Dick Williams and Bobby Doerr (1918-2017). Other key signatures include - George Scott (1944-2013), Jim Lonborg, Sparky Lyle, Rico Petrocelli, Lee Strange (1936-2018), Gary Bell and John Wyatt (1934-1998). Sweet spot has been signed by HOF'ers Yastrzemski and Williams. Ball has scattered minor aging but signatures remain bold and strong. Exc. Comes w/JSA LOA.
