Item Description
11x14" layout bond paper w/folded over sides and applied tape on back of folded sides. Original black ink and white paint art by Ken Kelly (1946-2022) who was an American fantasy artist. Over his 50-year career, he focused in particular on paintings in the sword and sorcery and heroic fantasy subgenres. Great image of Rock Star Caped Warrior w/sword raised w/guitar and three nude women at his feet. Bottom signed "©Ken Kelly '13". Piece was commissioned by KISS bassist and founding member Gene Simmons as a possible design for a guitar. Art comes w/two COA stickers from Ken Kelly and a photograph of the artist holding the piece. Lt. aging/wear. Minor wrinkling at top edge. 3x3" piece was cut and replaced by artist at lower left. Displays Fine.
