5-5/8x9x2.25" deep illustrated cardboard box w/die-cut display lid contains set by Ohio Art, 1930s. Box is original and complete w/insert. In addition to Mickey and Minnie Mouse, box features Pluto, Horace Horsecollar and Clarabelle Cow images. Box has even moderate aging, lid has been punched and shows wear w/three tears, one 3/8" and other two 2-5/8" long each. One of these and smaller tear have had neat glue repairs to underside of lid. Front right corner also has .75" tear, but this is mostly hidden by box, which still displays VF overall. 5.25" in dia. tin litho washtub w/images of Mickey and Minnie doing laundry. Tub and generic painted tin washboard are unused and shows just lt. aging and are very glossy. Four tiny spots of aging to bottom interior of tub, but o/w Exc. Other generic pieces include the rarely found clothesline unit (w/string clothesline) w/wooden pole/painted tin base/wire pole and three wooden clothespins (which are typically missing). These pieces are Exc. As nice as these come. Rare in this high grade condition and boxed. Thom Carchedi Collection.
