Minoso was a superstar for the New York Cubans of the U.S. Negro Leagues throughout the mid-late 1940s before debuting w/the MLB Chicago White Sox as well as spending a number of his peak seasons with the Cleveland Indians. Minoso was inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 2022. This amazing treasure was issued four years earlier than his traditionally accepted U.S. rookie card. Page has been carefully separated from the booklet, is bright and clean, and displays fantastically as encapsulated and designated “Authentic” by CGC. A review of the PSA and SGC pop reports reveals that only two other examples have ever been third party graded, both by SGC, w/each of these receiving the same “Authentic” designation as the one we are offering here.
