13-5/8x22" on thin uncoated card stock. poster for Promoting gigs on "Halloween Weekend", Oct. 27-28 at Winterland featuring David Bowie w/Sylvester and His Hot Band and Phlorescent Leech & Eddie (Flow and Eddie). Poster design by Randy Tuten features large photo of Bowie in his Ziggy Stardust persona. Only trivial handling. NM. Bowie was on his first tour of the US, promoting the recently released The Rise And Fall Of Ziggy Stardust And The Spiders From Mars". Performing in the character of Ziggy Stardust w/backing band The Spiders from Mars featuring Mick Ronson on lead guitar, Trevor Bolder on bass, Mick Woodmansey on drums and Mike Garson, on piano. The shows were not hot sellers w/reports of only a few hundred tickets sold for each. Attendees though were treated to an otherworldly experience. Shocking as the low ticket sales are today they following two show set for Dallas & Houston, TX were cancelled due to low sales.
