Item Description
First is 2x4" die-cut glossy thin paper sticker with unused gummed reverse. c. 1940. Classic and early full figure image of Superman with logo running across legs followed by text "Tune In KECA 4:45 PM Monday Thru Friday/Eat Town Talk Bread." For Los Angeles, California radio station. Second is variation of this with station call letters WHP and with lower imprint trimmed off. Back shows signs of glue being partially sticking at some time. KECA version has lt. aging/wear, small corner/edge crease at lower left. Bright colors and VF. WHP version has lt. aging/wear and diagonal color breaking crease marks across torso. As trimmed but still VG. A very scarce pair of early Superman items.  Danny Fuchs Collection.
