1940s sticker. 2.75x4-3/8" paper sticker w/gummed back mounted to gray cardboard was issued as Macy's department store sticker, designed to be applied to purchased items. Promotes their fall 1940 Superman promotion. Sticker features classic full body image of Superman w/"Macy's Superman Adventure" text. Sticker shows aging/handling wear w/some lt. creases, tiny edge tears and some wrinkles from gluing. Good. Scarce. Danny Fuchs Collection.
