The 1961 Topps Baseball set consists of 587 cards.  With the exception of some of the specialty cards, Topps returned to a vertical format with their 1961 cards, which depict a large color photograph of the player on each card's front, with his name and team affiliation printed across the bottom.  

Nelson Fox began his Major League career in 1949 with the Philadelphia Athletics as a speedy defensive-minded second baseman. From 1950-63, Fox would vastly improve his hitting while starring for the Chicago White Sox, leading the American League in base hits on four different occasions. Fox would finish his career with a batting average of .288 along with 1,279 runs scored and 790 RBI's. Fox was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1997. Autograph is well placed and does not impede the primary image. A review of the PSA/DNA pop report indicates that this signed copy is the only one graded at this level with only five others ever graded higher.
