The 1961 Topps Baseball set consists of 587 cards.  With the exception of some of the specialty cards, Topps returned to a vertical format with their 1961 cards, which bear a large color photograph of the player on each card's front, with his name and team affiliation printed across the bottom.

Phil Rizzuto spent his entire 13-year baseball career with the New York Yankees (1941-1956). Some career highlights include being a five time All-Star, a seven time World Series champion and the AL MVP in 1950. Rizzuto was elected to the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1994. The autograph on this card is very strong and well placed without overly interfering with the primary image.
