Item Description
4”, no maker, but a large, heavy button w/brass bar pin. Perhaps related to a contest. Reads “I Want To Be The World’s Fair-Haired Boy! See The World Of Tomorrow N.Y. World’s Fair 1939.” While this is the only 4” button 1939-40 expo design we know of, we are aware of one other example. This one has barely seen all over extremely thin and light scratches that manage to catch reflected light. Cello is totally clean. Extremely Fine. Rare.
