11.25x17" DC Comics artboard has pen and ink original art by Eduardo Berreto (1954-2011) for cover to Tales Of The Teen Titans #86, published by DC Feb. 1988. Cover shows Robin, Beast Boy (in lion form), Starfire, Jericho, Wonder Girl and Cyborg facing off against Church of Blood villainess Twister, whose powers include illusion casting. While not present here in the original art, which depicts the characters in whole, the published cover featured an effect which segemented the Teen Titans (Twister remained unaffected) into concentric rings, which shifted portions of their bodies to the left or right, making for an interesting display of Twister's power. Barreto has signed at lower left. Top right margin has inked "Tales/Titans" title abbreviation, issue number and month of publication. Left/right margins and lower left corner have been covered w/white tape to remove lines, etc. of artboard to allow for affect. Back has partial pencil face and body studies as well as DC copyright inkstamp. Margins have some lt. scattered aging and artboard has some corner tip wear, but art remains clean and VF/Exc.
