Item Description
1.5". The 1964 Topps Coins baseball set was a 164-metal discs release, each inserted in Topps wax packs. Divided into two sets of 120 “regular” coins and 44 All-Star players, these full-color coins show a player portrait with a banner across the bottom displaying his name, position and team. All-Star coin fronts show players against plain red or blue backgrounds. The backs show the coin number the player’s name, personal statistics and a player highlight from his career. Variations are available for Mickey Mantle.

Mickey Charles Mantle , nicknamed "the Commerce Comet" and "the Mick", was an American professional baseball player. Mantle played his entire Major League Baseball (MLB) career (1951-1968) with the New York Yankees as a center fielder, right fielder, and first baseman. Mantle was one of the best players and sluggers and is regarded by many as the greatest switch hitter in baseball history. Some of his many career accomplishments include being a 20 time All-Star, seven time World Series champion, three time MVP and a Triple Crown winner. Mickey Mantle was inducted into the National Baseball Hall Of Fame in 1974.
