Complete 15-piece tea set for six, made in France by Faiencerie d'Onnaing China Co., 1930s. Set consists of 8" tall teapot w/lid, 4.5" tall covered sugar, 3" tall open creamer, six 1.75" tall handled cups and six 5" dia. saucers. The three larger pieces have company mark on underside that includes image of Mickey Mouse; cups and saucers have mark on underside w/Walt Disney name. Image of Mickey stirring his teacup appears on one side of the three larger pieces as well as inside surface of each teacup. Image of Minnie Mouse holding plate w/piece of cake and a fork appears on opposite side of the three larger pieces as well as on each saucer. The two lids each have a different pair of Mickey and Minnie images. Art deco detailing includes ribbed outer edges on the three large pieces and teacups, all pieces have nice silver accent detailing. Aside form some black paint flakes to Mickey image on sugar bowl, set shows just small scattered traces of wear to images and silver detailing and is o/w VF. An exceptionally well-made and attractive tea set. Scarce.
