Item Description
3-5/8x5.25" stiff paper card promoting Macy's 1940 Thanksgiving Parade. Card features full body image of Superman in classic pose and also mentions WOR 710, which aired the Superman radio program. Comes w/3.5x4.75" stiff paper card that reads "Special Admission 10¢ Superman Adventure - Valid January 2, 1941 To Closing - 5th Floor Macy's Herald Square." Voucher features small full figure images of Superman and pair of "S" symbols. The Superman display was the largest balloon featured in the 1940 parade. Cards are evenly aged w/small spot of tape staining on back of ticket, but o/w both are Exc. Danny Fuchs Collection.
