Item Description
3.25x17" stiff paper horizontal sign features "Superman" comic book title/logo w/"For All Ages - Superman Adventure - Toyland 5th Floor" text. Small date code at bottom right indicates this was printed Nov. 1940 for the 1940 holiday season. Shows were held at Macy's Herald Square at New York City and sign mentions Toyland inside the store. Back has school inkstamp (which does not bleed through onto front) and extreme right margin has some staining and shows wear. VF/Exc. Scarce. Danny Fuchs Collection.
