Impressive 6.5x17" stiff paper vertical sign features classic full body image of Superman w/hands-on-hips below "Superman Adventure - Only At Herald Square" text. Small date code at bottom right indicates this was printed Nov. 1940 for the 1940 holiday season. Shows were held at Macy's Herald Square at New York City and sign mentions Toyland inside the store. Additional text reads "Before Your Eyes The World's Mightiest Comic Book And Radio Hero Comes Alive In A Spectacular Action Filled Adventure For All Ages." Back has school inkstamp (which does not bleed through onto front). Some faint margin moisture staining along bottom left. VF overall, but still very nice for display.
