Item Description
27.75x59" deep (including pistol grip ball shooter knob) by 78.25" tall, backboard measures 27.75x30x10.25" deep. Released in Aug. 1993 by Data East USA Inc. Designed by Ed Cebula, Joe Kaminkow, John Borg and Lyman F. Sheats Jr. w/art by Markus Rothkranz, game depicts scenes and images from the 1993 Arnold Schwarzenegger film directed by John McTiernan. Backboard features movie poster image. Gameplay is further enhanced by speech calls by Schwarzenegger himself. Gameplay includes eight story modes that can be selected - "Red Eye, Find Benedict, Go To The Movies, Save Danny, Cat Millions, To The Roof, Big Mistake, Super Crane, Blow Out" and "Lite Extra Ball." Game features include - two flippers, three pop bumpers, two slingshots, three elctromagnets under playfield (which affect ball movement when energized), two captive balls, 5-bank drop targets, vertical up-kicker, spinning target, single ramp, 6-ball multiball mode, automatic plunger and shaker motor. Motorized crane moves ball from one ramp to another. DMD display includes "Coming Soon" advertisement for Data East's Tales From The Crypt pinball (see lot #1589). Cabinet shows scattered lt. wear to backboard and is VF/Exc. overall. Cabinet has small area of scuffing to metal edge above pistol grip shooter knob but is o/w Exc. Playfield displays NM.
