Item Description
28.75x52" deep by 78" tall (to top of backboard, not including topper), backboard measures 28.75x32x10" deep. Released in Sept. 1989 by Midway Manufacturing Company under the Bally name. Designed by Dennis Nordman and Jim Patla w/art by Greg Freres, game depicts Cassandra Peterson's voluptuous horror host Elvira (as well as appearances by Frankenstein, the Wolf Man, Dracula and the Mummy). Pinball was released one year after her big screen debut in Elvira: Mistress Of The Dark and features music by Chris Granner. Gameplay is further enhanced by speech calls by Elvira herself, recorded by Peterson. Game features include - two flippers (left flipper is missing rubber), three jumper bumpers exclusive to Bally, two slingshots, 3-bank drop target, two flip-up targets, two ramps, three-ball multiball modes and rubber "Boogie Men" toys that shake. Sides of cabinet feature repeated full body illustration of Elvira reclining in her signature pose, which is repeated on acrylic topper. Cabinet has replaced rules sheet and shows scattered wear, w/backboard showing the heaviest wear. Bottom back corners have 1x1.5" and 1.75x4" areas w/surface material missing w/black paint touch-ups. Top edge of topper shows obvious aging. Speaker cover on backboard has shallow dent. Metal cabinet edge has some scattered denting and glass over playfield has scattered surface scratches. Fine overall. Playfield shows aging to clear plastic parts and some trace wear from use and displays VF. Due to the size of this item, packing and shipping must be done by a third party which could be costly. Please contact us with any shipping rate inquiries prior to close of auction. Item can also be picked up in-person if so desired.
