Art is for second story in issue "And A Deadly New Year" by Denny O'Neil and is by Dick Giordano (1932-2010). An unmasked Batman apologizes to Robin (Dick Grayson) about ruining his Christmas vacation from collage as Dick pours chemicals into test tubes while in civilian attire. Last panel shows Alfed Pennyworth and Bruce Wayne arriving at New Year's Eve party. Batman/Bruce Wayne appears in all but one panel while Robin/Dick Grayson appears in three panels (only in costume in second panel, seen from back). Top margin has slight trim w/stamped title and inked issue/page numbers. Center margins each have strip/small spot of tape staining, only center right margin extending slightly into art area. DC copyright inkstamp w/handwritten issue info on back. Back has two spot of dark staining, but this does not show on front. Front has some even lt. aging but aside from tape staining mentioned, remains clean and VF/Exc.
