Item Description
1-7/16x2-5/8”. From same set as previous four lots. Rube Marquard began his MLB career in 1908 by pitching one game for the New York Giants. From 1911-13, Marquard would exceed 20 wins per season comfortably w/New York before moving on to the Brooklyn Dodgers in 1915 and remaining w/Brooklyn through the 1920 season. Inducted into the National Baseball Hall of Fame in 1971. Boldly signed in blue ink across center of the card.
