Front features English/French "Free For 2 Crispy Critters Box Tops - Linus The Lion Fun Book" premium notice. Back panel features same premium offer design as US version (w/different bkg. color), w/added French text. Flat has not been folded and is an unused, NM file copy. Comes w/illustracted envelope containing Canadian version of premium booklet, which features different last page and features ad for Cesár le Lion plush rather than the puzzle page seen in the US edition. All else is the same, just w/French text. Some pinch creases to spine, but o/w unused and VF/Exc. Comes w/small paintbrush. Lot also features a vast array of printed material concerning the production of this premium booklet. Sizes range from 10.75x13.5" to approx. 16x23" and include - 10 printer spreads of black plate only page proofs in French and coupon text patch proof in English (this does not comprise the entire book); two yellow plate proofs for Magic Color Sheet in English; 54 newsprint paper sheets w/color printer spread page proofs in English. Most are four color and have individual color separated proofs attached (this does not comprise the entire book). Some handwritten notes and general handling wear from use w/creases, tears, etc. VG to VF overall. Last item in lot is 7-3/8x8.25" illustration board w/black paper mat. Board has 1-1/8x1-5/8" main image area featuring mixed media original art, showing fully realized image of Linus in tophat and tails, standing on playform base. Mat at attached at top and canbe lifted to see pencil outline for image area. Board has some scattered tiny age spots, but o/w art remains clean and VF/Exc. Wonderfully expressive Linus pose, showing the lion smiling w/his tongue sticking out. We are unsure if this art was ever used for a product, but this is the only Linus the Lionhearted original art we have ever offered in our 58 years. One-of-a-kind lot.
