Item Description
10.25x13" framed display contains 6.5x9.5" thin artboard w/ink and tempera original art depicting Franken Berry at lower left holding his picture and gesturing towards larger image of same picture designed as a stained glass window. This art was created for a c. early 1970s cereal premium that was never produced. Franken Berry's word balloon provides lines for potential lettering as does area below large image. Scene includes happy sun in bkg. at upper right. Lower right corner has inked "1350" notation. Artboard is attached at top to sheet of construction paper, lt. pencil lines here and there as done in design process, o/w bright and Exc. Franken Berry and Count Chocula were the first two cereals in a series issued by General Mills in 1971. Wonderful design. From the archives of premium creators Sam & Gordon Gold.
