Item Description
Disney entered into an arrangement w/various dairies in 1939, releasing a set of 10 glasses as dairy premiums, w/some also sold in boxed sets. Each glass featured nice wrap-around image. Offered here is 9-7/8x11.75" framed dislay containing 6x8" clipped artboard w/pen and ink original art for the glass featuring the Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf, who hides behind "No Swimmin!" sign. Bottom of art has hand-lettered "Big Bad Wolf And The Three Little Pigs" title and production notations. Complete w/original "1939 Walt Disney All Star Paraded title paste-over across top of art. Framed and matted under UV glass, ready for display. Exc. 1930s Disneyana merchandise art of any type rarely comes up for sale. This is a choice example.
