Great design w/image of Superman from the waist up at top left, bottom center shows bread loaf w/Superman illustrated cellophane wrapper (in and of itself a rare item for which there are also only two known). Text promotes the bread including “It’s Here! A Super Flavored Loaf” as well as the card promotion “Boys-Girls/Free Every Day A New Adventure Story/Superman Helps National Defense.” All blue has faded to a dull gray, red has some fading as well but all yellow is much less impacted and remains deep in tone. Top right corner area above “Here” there is a 1.5” hairline slice only seen upon close inspection. Moderate margin wear. Entire reverse has trace of glue staining. Front still displays cleanly and overall VG. Here is a case where rarity supersedes condition. The only time in our 58 years we have offered this treasure.
