Complete set of 15 numbered cards, each 2.75x4". Issued by "Evaristo Juncosa Panella", Barcelona. From a series of cards based on classic cartoon shorts that featured Mickey Mouse, Oswald Rabbit, Felix thge Cat and others (see previous lot). Card fronts have bw art, text backs describing the scene along with company imprint and "Chocolates Selectos." Top margin notes series A and title translates to "Felix Globetrotter." Based on the 1923 short in which Felix's owner gets into the ring with a boxing kangaroo, and in the ensuing fight she kills it. She then makes a deal with the kangaroo's owner to send Felix to find a replacement. Great art throughout.
