Item Description
All is for a rare (first time we have seen or offered in our 58 years) card series issued by Spanish company Blanca Nieves, maker of condiments and spices. A unique issue to Spain, nothing like this was made in the US and this originates from the initial release of the film. First is the display box, 4.5x5.5x2.5” deep and contains 153 of original 200 small 10¢ packs, 1.25x2” and each contains a single thin paper card. Packs have flaps w/closure tab, these were not sealed fast, so cards are easily accessible. Each pack also originally contained a seasoning sachet, but only two of these remain. Card backs note a series of 300, so there was apparently a series 1 and 2 for this issue. Of the 153 cards there are 44 different and 109 duplicates running between #’s 3 and 294. Cards have trace of aging but are EX to NM. Box has lt. wear, VF. The card album is 8x8” w/cardboard cover and 16 pages. Mounted at appropriate spots is the complete set of 120 first series cards (numbered 1-120) w/story art, matching text is printed on the pages below each. An album was obtained by sending in 300 wrappers. Art on all sides of the box, the top of the packs and front cover of album is in the Disney Studio style while cards are it more traditional fairy tale style. Cover has wear w/some creases, blank back cover has writing in ink, VG. Pages VF and cards display EX to NM as mounted. An interesting card issue, something very different for the non-sport and Disneyana collectors.
