Item Description
11x17" offset printed on coarse stock. Promoting an "18 And Over" concert on Dec. 1 at The Underground presented by "Pseudo Productions" and "KCMU." Canadian hardcore punk legends D.O.A. were top billed touring in support of their most recent record True (North) Strong & Free. Coffin Break was a Seattle hardcore punk band still in their infancy but would later be noted by Kurt Cobain as among his favorite bands. They appeared in the documentary Hype! Chronicling the rise of grunge in the PNW. Last on the bill was opening act Nirvana who to this point had only released their debut single Love Buzz in Nov. Their debut LP Bleach wouldn’t arrive until June of 1989. Horizontal crease at center. Scattered staple holes corresponding w/losses and holes at right and left. Age and moisture toning throughout most notably splatter at bottom left. Three piece of archival tape on verso from prior framing. VG. Rare. Sometimes referred to as the "And And Nirvana" poster, this early and offset printed concert poster represents a fascinating time in the bands development and rise to superstardom.
