Item Description
13x19x2" tall. c. early 1940s. Manufactured by Game Makers, New York. Brightly colored/graphic lid with action scene. Light surface dust, not offensive. Lid remains tight, bright. Lid VF. Contents include very brightly colored cardboard bomber with glossy illustrated surface paper. 19" wingspan. Center of plane has sliding mechanism with string attached. Player pulls string back to release marble or chalk bombs. One hairline crease on wing noticeable in reflected light. Futuristic styling of plane. Game also comes with two brightly colored cardboard ships, one aircraft carrier, other battleship. Each has open stack area along with designated target areas with corresponding point values. Bottom of box has colorful insert of harbor/planes/warehouses and barracks. Each area has a point value for scoring. Included instructions explain bomb dropping and point scoring using both included marbles and included chalk balls as bombs. One of the nicest WWII toys we've ever seen. All contents are complete, bright and well-designed. Exc. From the Tomart Archives and comes with COA signed by Tom Tumbusch & Ted Hake.
