1-7/16" shows our favorite anthropomorphic dough-boy figure comprised of 5 loaves of bread. He wears white chef's hat and apron that reads "John Dough Raised On Fleischmann's Yeast." Backpaper by Bastian has edge tear and stain mark. It was used 1913-1916. We've seen one example with Phila. grocer's 1916 picnic ribbon. Outer rim stained but blends near 100% with dark blue bkg. Bit of tan age on apron and hat but whether it compliments or detracts is open to question. Just VF, but still a gorgeous button design. Less than 10 known.
