Item Description
9.5x12", 4-page sheet music for "The Song Of The Bell" from Universal's 1923 classic "The Hunchback Of Notre Dame" which starred Lon Chaney. Sheet music is "Dedicated To 'Esmerelda' The Heroine Of Carl Laemmle's Screen Masterpiece The Hunchback Of Notre Dame." Sheet music features inset image of Esmerelda as played by Patsy Ruth Miller as well as large image of film set's Notre Dame cathedral. Sheet music shows heavy wear with tape repairs to several tears. VG. Comes with 3.75x5.5" bw postcard showing "The Cathedral Of Notre Dame As Reproduced In Universal's Great Screen Production Of Victor Hugo's Immortal Novel The Hunchback Of Notre Dame." Postcard also features local theater advertisement "Tremont Temple Boston Now Playing." Postcard features scene showing the cathedral as well as large crowd in period costume in front of it. Postcard has been filled out on black in blue ink and has Oct. 6, 1923 Cambridge, MA postmark. Scattered edge wear from postal issuing. .5" tear at top center margin. Fine.
