Item Description
7.25x9.25x4.5" deep "Weston Portable Wattmeter" by Weston Electrical Instrument Co. Meter has patent plaque with dates ranging 1890-1898. Brass plaque reads "Maximum Capacity In Amperes 2 In Volts 150 In Watts 150." Classic design with meter gauge under glass. Wooden box designed with bakelite face and brass fittings. From Ellis Props "Hollywood's Original Prop House" established 1908. COA reads "This Is To Certify That This Vintage Weston Wattmeter Has Been A Part Of The Ellis Collection Of Film Props, And That It Has Been Utilized In 'Frankenstein' And Other Televison & Film Productions." Wattmeter shows wear with dust soiling and tarnishing to brass parts. VG. Great piece for any mad scientist's lab.
