Auction #196 - Part I
Item numbers 1 though 975 in auction 196
Item Description
First is brass plated shield-shaped fob reading "Bryan And Kern 1908." Surface feels a bit pebbly as made but complete with most original color. The second metal piece is a rarely-seen 1.5" dia. black on brass luster metal disk with a small brass loop at top for a leather strap. This reads "Wm. H. Taft Washington 1908." Tiny wear traces but VF. The second Taft piece is a very graphic 1.25" celluloid mounted on a stiff cardboard fob complete with leather strap. Cardboard has 2 small dots where the black is not quite as intense as the rest but the celluloid remains essentially Mint. Last is a choice color 1.25" celluloid reading "For President Wilson." This is mounted to a leather fob but the outer edge of what was once a larger piece has been trimmed down to a circle so that no leather extends beyond the celluloid except at the top. Still displays glossy and with Exc. color.
