Item Description
1-9/16x2-1/8”. Coolidge stands mid-stream between 2 river banks, one labeled “1920” and the other “1928.” With him in the middle of the stream is the “G.O.P.” elephant who, under the instruction of Coolidge holding a baton, uses his trunk to break a wooden barrier inscribed “1924.” Text on bottom margin “Copyright 1924 F.H. Buffum, Jr.” Stamp is Mint with unused gum reverse. Unlisted in Hake. From the Morry Greener Collection.
