Auction #201 - Part I
Item numbers 1 through 1408 in auction 201
Item Description
1.25” with spring pin holding rwb fabric ribbon. Their names are below the photos while the top caption is “Wash. D.C.” and the inaugural date is below “March 4, 1925.” Button has a couple of tiny and extremely faint age dots on the extreme upper edge and a tiny bit of similar on bottom edge below the year. Still displays VF with high gloss and almost no surface wear whatsoever. Item is in Hake’s 2004 Revised Prices with value of $2150 and our last example which had a small edge rub exceeded $1500. This example has very conservative opening bid more than accounting for the faint age traces. A rare jugate.
