Item Description
c. 1890s. 4-3/8x6.5" with 4x5.5" image area showing all three well-dressed with Count Magri at left holding trophy with bird on top. Countess Magri, formerly Lavinia Warren was the widow of General Tom Thumb and married Count Magri on April 6, 1885. They traveled the world with their troupe composed of dwarfs as well as people of regular height performing plays, later in life operating a famous road side stand in Middleborough, Massachusetts. Card has some dust soil and creasing. Top blank edge of photo area is missing .25" piece of surface paper. Right side of image area has 2" horizontal hairline crease. VG overall. Interesting photo.
