Item Description
Action Comics is one of the most important books in the history of comics. The very first issue introduced the hero who would save the fledgling comics industry, Superman. He would go on to become an American Icon. Over seventy-five years after his introduction, Superman remains one of the most recognizable figures in the world. This unrestored early issue of Action features art by Jack Burnley. The pages are off-white. The book is CGC-certified as 8.5 (VF+). It is also listed as part of the “D” Copy Pedigree. According to the CGC Census, this book is tied with one other as the second highest graded copy they have seen. ( 750)
