Item Description
(Unrestored) Placing the hero in a realistic situation while still allowing them to retain their super-powerful identity had worked on the early covers of Superman. DC had no problem picking up this idea applying the concept to its other heroes. For this cover, Green Lantern is seen working at possibly the most mundane job in American consciousness, delivering the mail. Many American’s truly value their mail carriers and Green Lantern’s willingness to help them speaks volumes about that appreciation. They have a tough job. The pages are white. This unrestored book is CGC-certified 9.0 (VF/NM). According to the CGC Census, this copy is the highest –graded copy they have seen. It is also recognized as being part of the Hawkeye Collection.
