Item Description
Mac Raboy has created an exciting cover for one of Fawcett Publishing’s best characters. The hero was part of the original wave of super-powered comic characters that showed up right after Superman appeared in Action #1. He was Fawcett’s second most popular success (right after Captain Marvel and anything associated with the Captain). He first appeared in Nickel Comics and, after a run in Master Comics, eventually got his own title. The book lasted until 1946. The pages are off-white. This unrestored book is CGC-certified 9.4 (NM). According to the CGC Census this is the highest-graded copy they have seen. It is also recognized as being part of the Mile High Pedigree.
