3.25x4" cardboard mount (marked "Combined Photo Industries, Inc." of Long Island City, NY.) holding original release glass slide for 1932 pre-code horror film loosely based on Edgar Allan Poe's short story "The Murders In The Rue Morgue" that starred Bela "Dracula" Lugosi as a lunatic scientist who abducts women and injects them w/blood from his ill-tempered caged ape. Title slide does not show Lugosi but does feature small image of Erik the ape w/woman over his shoulder. Cardboard mount shows some lt. wear but slide is o/w Exc. Rare, as all original release promotional material for this film is rare and highly sought after.
