Charles Biro doesn’t mess around when he creates a war cover. He puts all the big-wigs together. Hitler, Mussolini and Tojo are seen plotting conquest of the Earth as America’s Boys of Action crash through the window hell-bent on foiling those plans. While the interior work is solid, it is this incredible war cover that sets this issue apart. A few feel the highlight on the cover is actually the dancing monkey in the center of the title. They are wrong. Published by Lev Gleason, the title lasted until 1956. The pages are off-white. This unrestored book is CGC-certified 9.4 (NM). According to the CGC Census this is the highest-graded copy they have seen. It is also recognized as belonging to the Mile High Pedigree.
