Item Description
The title is the very first regularly published crime comic. The title came from a popular film. The book is notorious for its violence. The cover for this issue, by Charles Biro, shows the crooks actually smiling as they shoot the victim in the phone booth. The cover is also noted for the photos of real-life crooks. The pages are white. This unrestored book is CGC-certified 9.2 (NM-). According to the CGC Census this is the highest-graded copy they have seen. It is also recognized as being part of the Vancouver pedigree.
