Item Description
Unlisted in Hake. 2" with New York union bug on the lower front. Smith was successful in his 1948 race for Missouri Governor. In reflected light there is an extremely light .75" scratch above the name "Forrest" and on the very top edge there is a 5/8" long narrow sliver of color just a hair darker than the surrounding cream color. Button still displays extremely well. Last example of this rarity that we could find at auction was in Heritage 2009 where the price exceeded $1,100.00.
