Item Description
1-1/8" wide slightly domed embossed brass frame featuring wreath, crossed American flags and a Liberty Cap top center. Reverse has remains of a vertical stickpin. Ferrotype displays both candidates with their last names below. Upper right, not touching the Greeley image, is a missing 1/16" dot of emulsion. There is a faint diagonal hairline mark across Greeley's face but unseen without magnification. Listed as DeWitt 1872-23. A rare uniface jugate with no recent auction records.
