Item Description
Cleveland is Hake #3142 and the matching Harrison is Hake #3188. These are a pair of VF, smoothly operating litho tin shields each inscribed "1888." Cleveland has the correct stickpin on the reverse. The Harrison pin could be original but it is a little shorter by .5" and could be a replacement although that does not appear to be the case even though it is of a slightly different design. Each piece operates by sliding downward the tin shield. This reveals a figural paper on tin portrait. The Harrison has a small rub by his mustache. The Cleveland has light general age but nothing really damaged. There are a few pinpoint paint dots off the Cleveland shield but overall both of these are about as nice as is ever seen and overall VF. Julie Powell Collection.
